MEET DR. RAYMOND A. BELL, JR
Dr. Raymond A. Bell Jr. interest in civic and political involvement began at an early age in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Serving as a Congressional Intern for the late U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Holt in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, was very transformative and impactful in developing his passion service. Currently, he lives in Spotsylvania County, VA and has served as Senior Pastor of Mount Hope Baptist Church for 33 years. His love for community service has inspired him to serve as an Adjunct Professor at Germanna Community College, Chairman of Spotsylvania Fire and EMS Commission, and Board of Trustees of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Aside from being a Pastor and Community Leader, Dr. Bell is founder and President of Mosaic Expressions LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting firm. The sole purpose of the organization is the development of leaders through training programs, critical analysis, evaluation and executive coaching. He has coached executives in the educational, religious, business and sports arenas. Through these experiences with communities and businesses, he has developed unique abilities to assist individuals in transforming thought and finding new possibilities.
Dr. Bell implements insightful strategies and ‘next-step’ solutions to help communities flourish maintaining their rural infrastructure. As a Certified Planning Commissioner through Virginia Tech University, he understands the preparation/strategic thinking required in maintaining a safe and vibrant Spotsylvania County.
